Erlend Westnes

Born and raised just outside Oslo, Norway, Erlend spent his youth in a perpetual identity crisis. He juggled tabletop RPG and grafitti while playing drums in both a black metal band and a Christian youth choir simultaneously trying to pick up girls. But soon, he became interested in the magic of filmmaking. And quickly learnt that spending Friday nights with the boys punching each other in the balls while filming isn’t actually filmmaking - and also doesn't impress the female populace. Nevertheless, the films turned out quite funny.

This sense of humor would pave the way for a successful career in television, where he directed multiple award-winning sketch shows and comedy series in Norway, culminating in directing the most-watched TV program in Norway for two consecutive years. His knack for storytelling and visual aesthetics naturally guided him into the advertising industry, where he has directed a series of award-winning commercials, earning recognition for his lighthearted humor and ability to engage audiences."
