With a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in film from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, as well as the real life school by working as an assistandt to collective directors Traktor in LA, Meriam Braanaas brings serious storytelling chops to advertising.

Lucky for us, she has a soft spot for ads, particularly the corny ones. FInindg the precise humor in the characters and cast is her sixth sense.

When she's not working with commercials she develops scripts for feature, drama and as for now producing the humor acts for an humor show at NRK premierimg 2026.
