Tobias Granström

Tobias studied filmmaking at the Stockholm Film School before launching directly into the commercial film industry.

Over the course of his career, he has worked across every stage of motion picture production—from production and set design to roles within grip and gaffer teams—later evolving into a storyboard artist and editor. This broad foundation led to his emergence as a versatile, internationally focused director in 2012.

Tobias is recognized for blending a passion for classic cinematography with cutting-edge visual effects and 3D animation, using progressive film technology in service of creativity.

Named Sweden’s Best Commercial Director by the prestigious Roy Awards, Tobias’ distinctive visual storytelling has attracted leading global brands including IKEA, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Save the Children, General Electric, Chevrolet, Toyota, Jaguar, Jeep, and Mercedes-Benz.
